In August, 2020, construction contracts for section II & III of BOP pile foundation and main plant pile foundation of Bangladesh Patuakhali 2x660MW Coal-Fired Power Station, covering totally 300,000 linear meters, were signed by and between HBEC and ENERGY CHINA Tianjin Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd. Located in Patuakhali, Barisal, Bangladesh, this project is planned with totally 4x660MW ultra supercritical coal-fired units, two of which will be constructed in Phase I. As another major geotechnical construction project in Bangladesh following pile foundation project for Barisal 350MW coal-fired power station, the contract signing symbolizes further breakthrough of our independent survey and construction business, and bears great significance on expanding this business in Bangladesh market.
