In December 2016, HBEC signed with SEPCO Electric Power Construction Corporation (SEPCO) to provide survey (technical service) and design for Mongolia TELMEN 2×50MW Coal-Fired Power Plant Project. The project, with Mongolia New Asia Group Co., Ltd. as the Owner, is the first coal-fired power plant undertaken by HBEC in Mongolia and will offer power guarantee for the country’s economic development.
