Established in 1958, POWERCHINA Hebei Electric Power Engineering Co., Ltd. (HBEC) is a subsidiary of Power Construction Corporation of China and a national-level Class A survey and design company. With a registered capital of RMB 800 million, HBEC has been ranked among the top 100 survey & design companies in China. The business scope of HBEC covers planning of electric power system, survey and design, technical consulting, engineering supervision and EPC of power generation projects (utilizing coal, gas, geothermal energy, biomass, wind, solar, waste, etc.), power transmission and distribution projects, industrial & civil construction projects and geotechnical projects.
HBEC has completed hundreds of survey & design and EPC projects so far, more than 200 of which are awarded provincial and above (including ministerial and national level) prizes. Equipped with strong technical prowess, advanced instruments & devices, extensive engineering experience, internationally cutting-edge hardware and software for geophysical exploration, surveying & mapping, hydrological engineering, marine survey, detection and measuring, the investigation & survey business is in the leading position in the industry. The EPC business covers power generation, power grid, renewable energy, municipal works, construction and other fields. With accumulated practices and experience, HBEC has gradually built a double growth model in both electricity power and non-electricity business.
